Malahide is a small coastal town about 16 km north of Dublin and 8 km from
Dublin Airport. Malahide castle was the ancestral home of the Talbot family
and is now a national heritage centre. CAPTEC is located at St. James's
Terrace, which was built around 1835 as seaside holiday homes for wealthy
Dubliners. The Grand Hotel was also built at the same time and is one of
Dublin's main conference venues.
